![]() Slime Rancher 2 is available in Early Access on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The fountains refill daily, so players can return regularly to get more Primordy Oil. There, players should move cautiously as many slimes in those areas are dangerous and will attack or even explode, depending on their species. Alternatively, within the volcano are more fountains. Recommended upgrade path: Resource Harvester > Jetpack > Water Tank > Extra Tank. You'll need resources to upgrade everything besides the ranch plots, unlike needing just money last game. Once inside, it leads players to a pond with multiple fountains and Puddle slimes. Unlock the resource harvester as soon as you can, there are resource links around the map. The volcano is visible from far away, but the cave will require deeper exploration. ![]() Primordy Oil is near the volcano or deep in the caves. Ranchers can then ride the geyser up the cliff and follow the path to a device that opens a portal to Ember Valley.Įmber Valley is a desert area known for its tall mountains, crystal caves, and fiery landscape. Whenever it is full, it will explode and reveal a geyser. Pink slimes are the least picky eaters, so players can feed this Gordo any food. The Pink Gordo slime is sitting on the northwestern side of the island. Gordo slimes are sedentary oversized slimes. On the map, it is west of the Conservatory, but players will not be able to travel directly to it on foot.įirst, they'll have to find the Pink Gordo slime in Rainbow Fields to get to Ember Valley. I hope you've liked my guide or at the very least found it useful. To find Primordy Oil, players must venture out further than Rainbow Fields to Ember Valley. The Wilds - Food and (most if not all) Kookadoba spawn locations: It's close enough though to give you a good idea of where you're at and where you're going. It's not 100% accurate, however it is the most accurate map of The Wilds I've found yet. Once that was done, I flew back and forth over the Wilds countless times, marking all the item locations found there. Then I began painting over the main areas to make it visually easier to navigate and so it would blend better with the original style of the Far Far Range Map. It's taken me three month to piece all those (695) images together properly. except The Wilds.Īfter starting a new game for the purpose, I gave myself infinite flight, flew to the highest spot I could find and began taking flyover images of the Wilds. Published Upgrades are unlocked through Slime Science in Slime Rancher 2, but the resources required can be tough to come by. In no time at all I had compiled the bulk of the Far Far Range. And partly because I didn't want to deal with "Mom, I'm lost! Can you help me?" more than is absolutely necessary. Mostly so that when my child wanted to know how to find (all of Hobson's Notes or) several things at once in their game I could pull up a single file rather than hunting around for everything. ![]() But no more!įour months ago, I began making a map that would have everything in one location. Even Slime Rancher Wiki's have disconnected pieces that are of little help to the newest adventurers. With that, there are also farms to grow, and many activities to do, alongside getting your hands on map nodes. The two attempts for a map of the Wilds that I found (one hand drawn and disproportional, the other unfinished) are confusing and nearly useless. Nor are most forum comments useful on the subject. And faced with the hardest decision you will make in this game: stay lost in the Wilds while your ranch falls apart or use the emergency teleport and loose everything you've gathered. You hurry off to The Wilds only to become horribly lost. You upgrade and unlock your ranch until that fateful day Ogden sends you a message, asking for your help. You fall in love with the Far Far Range and your slimes. It's a tale as old as time: you start playing Slime Rancher. (Want a closer look at that elusive island we call The Wilds, keep reading.) Welcome to my first and possibly only guide!
